"I have known and been friends with David Landau for over twenty years. Over those years, I have witnessed David's leadership abilities as a lawyer, community leader, and party official. He understands the issues and addresses those issues with rigor, dedication, and passion. I can think of no better candidate then David Landau to reform Delaware County Council."

Editorial: Tuesday’s choices will matter for years
Whether the sun is shining or the rain is falling, far fewer voters will make their way to the polls Tuesday than would make the trip if it were a presidential race. What a shame.
This newspaper endorsed Fizzano Cannon, Landau and Lewis. After interviewing all the candidates, those are the three the Daily Times editorial board decided deserved to be elected.
But the point was made in the endorsement editorial that the field was strong. Different philosophies appeal to different voters. The Daily Times published all candidates’ platforms. Readers and voters should know who among the six candidates best represents their views and make that choice known Tuesday.
Suburban parties' fate tied to turnout: Will national politics play a role? That's the question, experts say.
Now in the final hours, the campaigns for control of suburban courthouses have arrived with signs sprouting at intersections and highway on-ramps, TV attack ads complete with scary music, and last-minute hit pieces in mailboxes.
On Tuesday, voters will determine whether Democrats can finally win significant county-level power by capitalizing on their growing number of registered voters, leftward trends in presidential and congressional elections, and public dissatisfaction with the Bush White House and the Iraq war.
Republican Primary Candidate Endorses Landau For Delco Council
Media - Erstwhile Republican primary candidate for Delaware County Council Rick Lacey has endorsed Democrat David Landau for a spot on the five-member body.
"I'm asking the 19,000 Republican voters who voted for me in the primary to vote for David Landau," the former GOP candidate said.
Letter to the Editor: Delco GOP slogans ‘bag of hogwash’
To the Times:
On Nov. 6, you are asked to choose from a variety of candidates on Election Day. I would like to focus on the race for county council and local races: School board, borough council, commissioners.
The Delaware County Republican Party slogan this November, “It’s About People, Not Politics,” is nothing but a bag of hogwash. A vote for the Delaware County Republican Party is a vote for a party that only cares about its own interests and friends.
Darts and Laurels:
LAUREL: To David Landau. Regardless of what you think about his campaign tactics, Landau has done something Democrats have routinely failed to do, that is raise serious money, and also raise the discourse surrounding the county council race.
LAUREL: To the six candidates seeking a seat on county council on Tuesday. It’s been one of the better, more vocal campaigns in memory. We wish there were more of them. Best of luck to all of you on Tuesday.
DART: To all those who will yawn widely and stay away from the polls in the off-year election. Don’t waste your most precious constitutional right.
